Table Tennis Tauranga is a friendly, social and competitive community club based at QEYC, Memorial Hall.

Offering sessions to everyone from school aged children to retirees and everyone in between, we welcome you to give table tennis a try with us.

Juniors Club: fun learning for ages 8-16, run by International Table Tennis Federation qualified coaches. A fun and friendly community club, all are welcome to check it out.

Senior Club: social and competitive weekly sessions for adults of all abilities to join in.

Review of 2022

TTT programs ran February- December 2022. BOPTTA hosted the North Island Individuals at QEYC in June with many of our members playing this popular event.   TTT players competed in Schools Championships, AIMS Games and  BOP Open/ maxplay.

Congratulations to all the TTT players who played in the Nationals this year. 

The U19 boys, U13 Boys teams gained good playing experience and came away motivated to play in 2023. The  BOP Mens team surprised many to achieve Mens Team Bronze Medal.  

Congratulations to Victor Kamizona and Cadence Grant playing the National Para Championships.  below : BOP U13 Boys team, National Championships 2022.

TTT Junior Squad Alumni,Max Henderson,was awarded the 2022 Prime Minister’s Athlete Scholarship.  Max represented TTNZ at the Oceania Championships,Melbourne,then returned to take silver medals at the TTNZ National Championship in both U19 and U21 Singles events.
